My School Jumper and My Wedding Trousers
I've slightly cheated in my post description championship… this isn't actually my bodily schoolhouse sweater [I much adopt the word sweater at present, but at school it was a jumper]…
Information technology's actually an old 70s Marks and Spencer one I bought from eBay a couple of weeks ago. For all intents and purposes it's the same, just ours didn't have any pattern on them. To be honest I'm amazed I've bought something even vaguely resembling my onetime school uniform (I always swore I'd never wear bottle green in my life again) – another fiddling thrifted gem added to my retro collection.
And the wide-legged trousers are the actual ones I wore on my wedding day vi years agone (and then Bianca Jagger of me!). They've been such a bang-up wintertime staple (see them worn on the blog here, and here), who'd have thought I'd withal be wearing years subsequently what I wore to get married?! As they were in the sale at the time, the pay-per-wear on these babies must be a lot lower than the boilerplate ppw on most wedding dresses I reckon…!
On Thursday (first day of bound, yay) I'll be posting my circular upwardly of my favourite winter outfits – and then glad warmer days are finally on their way :))
P.S. A huge cheers to all who commented on my last mail service – I was really overwhelmed by all the support from everyone. I wasn't line-fishing for compliments at all (hard to make that sound honest, just I do mean it), information technology was just an alibi to go my feelings off my breast about thoughtlessness and showcase some great fellow bloggers to counteract the negativity. Information technology goes to prove again what a great piddling community we accept going on :)))))
